Well, it's going to be hard to beat this weekend. Great weather, people and bikes. Well done to the Hobbo, Sandy and everyone else involved in organising a brilliant rally, the only shame is that it passed by too quickly. I'll be working on the vid tomorrow so here's some pix in the meantime. http:/...

Re: New tyres, bt-45's for a4

Mornin all, just gonna order up a set of skins for the bike, goin by past threads the bt45's seem to be best choice. Tyres on the bike at the minute are in metric 100/90-19 on front and 130/90-18 on rear, I could'nt find 130/90-18 tyres anywhere by a brand I would trust. The bt45 size available to ...

After the problem with the chain hitting the bracket I thought I'd check a few things just out of curiosity, be interested in your comments. When I Emailed the pix over to them they said that everything was within tolerance. I just expected everything to be a bit more 'lined up'. There's no problem ...

Steve, I can totally sympathise. If you check out the thread 'JMC I don't know what all the fuss is about' you'll see my photos of my JMC for my ZRX and where the chain hits the bracket holding the chainguard. When I contacted them about it I got the same unconcerned attitude you did. I know someone...

The idlers etc, fail because of the rubber inners becoming hard and brittle due to the heat rather than any wear to the metal components. I have no idea how many miles my Zed has on it as the bike has Z650 clocks on it (possible front end smash?) I stripped it a few years ago with the intention of ...

Hi Paul, the bar could be described as 'cosy' , there is a large dining room next door and a conservatory next to that which looks out onto the Loch, it's a great venue, you gonna be there?

Took Fer down to Tibbie Shiels to check out the venue for the Scottish Rally and have a chat to Alistair the owner. It's going to be a good one, there's about six rooms of various sizes plus a bunkhouse which should be up and running in the next few months. For you hardy soles there's plenty of plac...

Just thought I'd remind everybody that the Scottish Z1OC rally is still going ahead on the 7th, 8th and 9th of August at Tibbie Sheils in the Scottish borders so put the date in your diary. As you can see from the previous photos it's a great location with some brilliant roads and scenery, I'll post...

Well that's it for another year. It was a great weekend we had two stands, the Z1OC stand with ten bikes and the Eddie Lawson with 5. There was, as always a good selection of Zeds, everything from the shiny four pipers to the heavily modified and anything inbetween, showing what can be done with a b...

A very good show again at Ingliston, loads of interest in both the Z1OC stand and the Eddie Lawson tribute stand. Hi Geoff, the prices, per night, are about £35 per head B&B, £12 for the bunk, camping £5. Alistair hopes to have more bunk space sorted out by next year so there should be accomodation for everyone. There's also camping in the Teepee, it has a fire in the middle of it so might reek a b...
