I've used them twice. They're always busy (a good sign!) so it won't be a 2 week turnaround! But excellent job. Will be using them again on my next project.
Cheers mate

Fork Stanchions - New or Re-Chrome?
The stanchions on my Zed are pitted and need sorting. I was going to get a new set but saw this link on another post http://www.pittedforks.co.uk/index.php I gave them a call this morning. They seem very helpful and offer a UK mainland collection and return delivery service. Re-chromed stanchions ar...

Re: Wish I Still Had It
Have you tried bar risers/different bars? Might help before thinking of selling it I've tried all sorts, lower bars, higher bars, lower pegs, higher pegs. As I have it now is the most comfortable it can be for me: Renthal medium road bars and Arata rearsets which have the footpeg about 1 inch highe...

Re: Wish I Still Had It
might part with it when I can no longer physically ride it. That's the problem with mine, I love it but if I ride it more than 50 miles it triggers a flareup of my longstanding lower back problem and then I can't ride anything for a while. I am going to sell mine shortly... Have you tried bar riser...

Re: Stainless Steel Bolts - Ok or Not?
Why would it be a problem to use stainless on the camshaft bearing caps? Think he means there's no real advantage? Well, that for sure and as also noted above, the small possibility that SSteel bolts may not have the same tensile / work ratings as the original cam cap steel bolts. The high frequenc...

Re: Wish I Still Had It
I have lost count of the amount of people that have sold their Rex and don't know why or regretted it. We all know how good they are so why even think about it. Sure I know it'll mostly be down to money at the end of the day, but like all classics these are only going one way. I've had mine for 9 y...

Re: Z1R - The Work Begins!
Brilliant - thank you, that is certainly the sort of solution I think I need. That piston seizes well in there doesn't it ! Thanks also on the strip out of the discs from the reservoir cup. I was thinking of this just to make sure that I thoroughly cleaning any crud out of there. Will probably revi...

Re: Z1R - The Work Begins!
Lovely job - really good looking Z1R too. Curious about your rear brake reservoir rebuild as I have one on the bench at the minute that's resisting me a little. The reservoir is pretty old and gungy and I'm struggling to get the piston out under the reservoir. It's presently sitting upside down and...

Also on the American model the indicators on the front are wired to have a permanent light on.[/quote]
Mine must be 'UK' spec - indicators are wired as normal
