Hi Jon I have done a bit of searching on the net and it is quite a story. In the dying days of the British bike industry Royal Enfield had thrown in their lot with AMC this was Norton,AJS,Matchless,Francis Barnet,James and a few others. The interceptor twins were looked at by the Norton blokes and w...

Hi Gary I think you are right . My mate does not do computers so he was getting nowhere at all. He has contacted Hitchcocks and asked them to let him know if they get any in. He missed a couple that they had just sold that would have been OK for him and were at a price he was willing to pay. I have ...

Looking Royal Enfield Interceptor Mk2

Bit of a long shot but if you don't ask. My mate is looking for a Royal Enfield Interceptor Mk2. He wants a restoration project/non runner not a restored one. If anyone on here has one or knows of one he would be very interested. He does not want a Mk1 or 1A it has to be the Mk2. Same engine as the ...

Try these guys . they are very quick and will cut you a key to number. It will only be a metal top key not a Kawasaki black plastic top key. The other thing is that the key is cut to original cutting data so will be a better fit than a key copied from a 30 odd year old worn original key as all the w...

Gpz 1100 twin shock Frame

I am looking for a GPZ frame please for my next project. I bought a GPZ1100A1 unitrack in boxes a couple of weeks ago and after looking at it all I have decided to use the engine etc in a twin shock frame. I would prefer a GPZ1100 B1 or B2 frame if poss as it should be less agro to add to my classic...

Hi Gavin
Did you get fixed up with a carb ?
What spec is it you require ?
I have a used bare carb body if it is of any use to you.
It is the late Z1A/Z1B type that uses the float bowl with the small brass drain screw not the large bung in the bottom.
Let me know if it is the type you need.

I went as well.
So that's nearly 50% of the crowd was made of Z1.O.C. members by the sound of things.
What a great idea it was to have that big door at the end open for a while on such a balmy February day.

I had some of these a while back. I contacted the guy and asked him if he would send me two sets of 1-4 instead of the 1-8 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IGNITION-HT-LEAD-MARKERS-V8-RANGE-LAND-ROVER-CHEVY-SPARK-PLUG-BIG-SMALL-BLOCK-/130994957058?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e7fe86b02

1000 H1 or G1 Injection cylinder head

Bit of a long shot but here goes. Has any one got a cylinder head for a Z/KZ1000 Injection they could sell me for my KZ1000 G1 Classic. I got a bike with a load of broken fins and would like to replace it if possible. I could get it ally welded locally but would prefer to replace it if possible. I k...

That was another option I was thinking about as the head is painted black so would help .I hope to have a better look at the bike shortly to decide if it is going to be an Injection or carb model.

Here is the beast .I saw it and thought that it might make a project and if not it was not a bad selection of parts. I was out when the auction ended and was surprised that I had won it for with my first bid as I had bid a tad more. I know some of the guys on here may have had snags with DK but I ca...
