Anyone know how the plastic wheel comes off the trip recorder spindle,? Trying to fix my bent one but can’t see how to remove it without destroying it,,,,

I remember reading an article on grant saunders setting up as a motorcycle manufacturer on his own, Bike magazine early eighties I think,, yes he did work for Harris for a while,,,,,,

First job on the long list is to get the Yamaha XJR1300 swingarms in. The original Zed spindle and pivot hole should ideally be 16mm but in actual fact the hole is 16.2mm and the spindle is 15.8mm so a massive 0.4mm slack fit that translates to much more at the rear wheel end which doesn't do the b...

Do the footrest support pins that go into the frame that the footrests themselves sit on screw into the frame,,? Or do they just push in and can be drifted out from rear after removing the nuts,,

Hi, I took the float bowls off my 82 z1000 ,CV carbs and sandwiched between float bowl and body are small rubber/neoprene discs ,,no holes in em and they sit in circular casting on top body and on gasket on float bowl,,,one of them is missing, so I wondered if it was necessary,? Bit of an odd one this,, on my 76 Z900 the rubber holders the speedo +tacho light bulb holders sit in have perished and disintegrated,,,,look like well chewed winegums,,,

Hi can anyone post a pic of the wiring harness route past the headstock to the headlamp on a 1982 Z1000 CSR,,?
When I got the bike the harness hangs down at front under the bottom yoke then up ,,,,,ugh ,,can’t be like that originally,,,,,can’t find any pics,,! Thanks
