Mine runs for the first time in God knows how long!
Still a bit of work needed to get it through the MOT, but it lives and that's a big thing. It's made me smile. :vcool

Re: GPZ1000RX Project

I've recently bought an RX and she's not far off running again.
Last on the road in 2002 with 31,000 on the clock. Can't wait to ride it.
That's a great job you've made of yours, Bill.

Re: bike cuts out when hot.

Thanks for your replies, gents.
It's got new coils, HT leads, plug caps and plugs fitted. I guess that points to the ignitor?

bike cuts out when hot.

Gents, My GPz750R1 runs fine when it's cold, but as it warms up eventually it misfires then cuts out. Once it's been allowed to cool down, we're off again and it runs fine. Then gets hot, misfires and cuts out... Whilst it's not strictly a bike covered by the Z1OC, I was wondering if anyone else has...

It's very nice. And I agree about that's what it takes to keep the bike on the road.

Re: NEC bike show 2018

I'd agree that it was a bit of a disappointment and there's no encouragement to go when it's £25 on the door plus £16 parking.
I'd rather go to Stafford.

Never thought about getting them replated..
Thanks for the heads up, I've got quite a few nuts and bolts that I could get done rather than buy new.

Nuts and bolts

I've acquired most of a GPz750 Unitrak and I happen to have most of the parts lying around in the garage to make it into one bike.
