I have had two 78 specials 447 motors, the kits fit all models the kit i have used on both is KIT00303, you can phone them direct and order on the phone, hey are a cottage industry and the instructions are printed in house so look a bit like that, just follow them and you will be fine. Yep direct from Boyer in Maidstone Kent, I noticed a marked improvement on starting and running, the sockets are modified so you can tighten up the rotor with the pick up plate in situ. Boyer Jim, easy to fit, only thing i changed is the blue box location, i extended the wiring and located it in the tool box under the seat, i also may have a pair of modified sockets if you wish to borrow them it makes it easier to time up. Z900 has discs with 4 bolt mounting to hub. Yeah, I probably wasn't clear on what I was saying - I'm not sure what depth (width) the standard Z1 discs are but maybe the PO bought oversized drilled discs in error as I can't think of anything else that'd make the pads that tight? A trail build of one of the calipers, with new pads was too tight to fit on the disc on the side for the extra disc. A bit of head scratching made me realise I could get a bit more of a gap if I removed the paint from the mounting face for the inboard pad as the paint was quite thick. I also had to...
