Looking at my parts again I seem to have the correct yoke but it has the steering lock cover missing The headlight is a Stanley 001-0799 fitted with a lucas domed headlamp glass which I am guessing is wrong On another point the bracing under the headstock does not have the holes in as I have seen on...

All good stuff to know Steve , I have been told that the UK Z1B had the indicators on the grab rail but I could be mistaken of course

Good Evening I am looking to build my Z1B project to UK spec I have the chrome bits , the UK fork reflectors and the seat with the strap . I need some shock absorbers without reflectors but I have seen repro ones . Do I use a short stem rear indicator ? Are there any other features I need to know ab...

basically they are the same .... there is some cosmetic difference to the earlier arms up to 75 as they have a narrower crinkled look to the arm above the chain adjuster .........and of course the date code for the purists

Hi Philipe .this will only be my second set and the first set I did was 20 years ago so cant really remember the methods

the early Z1 carbs have a lot of differences but the main one is the flat tops on the early carbs and the much higher " domed " tops on the z1000 / Z1R ....... they wouldn't look right really
