Project

Thinking of adding a 400 zxr front forks, discs, wheel and calipers.
And a 400 zxr rear wheel, disc & caliper to a gsx1100 swinging arm at the rear.
Any thoughts, problems??
Also any gsx swinging arms available ??
I want to keep the twin shock look.

thanks for the replies. I think a 17" wheel may look too small a diameter within the bike, and look a bit odd, so 18" dia 3.5" wide, may be the way to go.

It's a Z900,
so a 150/17 would fit with the std swingarm?

It's actually a Z900, but I thought they were all similar, IE they'd take the same brake backplate.

Drum brake hub

Hi has anyone got a drum brake hub that they don't want.
I don't need the wheel, so condition of spokes & rim are unimportant.
Thanks.

Wider rear wheel

I was wondering what would be a suitable size wheel/tyre to have built onto the std drum hub which would fot in the standard swing arm?
17 inch diameter as well, I want to keep fairly standard looking, but with 17" spokes front and rear, and a wider rear.
Thanks.

I had an XT500 with the silver/black tank. It wouldn't wheely off the throttle like the XL500, SP370 or DR400 s which I'd had before :( Ilike big singles though. I rode 2 up to the South of France and Bol D'Or in about 19879 or 80 on a SP370 :o because my Z900 was being rewired and wasn't ready in t...
