My 1000R2 had a bad vibration last time i rode it , in fact its always had one since I bought the bike

The vacuum tap is opened by suction from the inlet and that is all it does , open the tap ....I do not see any reason why you could not run slide carbs on a vacuum operated tap

have you tried Z1 Classics ? ........ his prices are reasonable and there was a 900a4 engine there last time i was down there When you think of the cost of refurbishing an engine I guess 2200 isnt that bad once the shock wears off ... a head recon and a set of pistons and a bore will be nearly a grand
