whatever you dont use nitromos, ive tried it and neeley had to chuck my tail piece away it hard to tell when you removed all the paint, and you end up taking all the plastic of as well, i had to cover the hole tail piece in filler and rub it down

check that you have no bare wires touching the frame it sounds like its shorting out somewhere

big fluff done me a clock face for a z650 only a couple of weeks ago thats goes upto 160, he does a fantastic job iam not very good at posting pictures on here, but if you want i could take a picture of it and email the picture to you if you give me your email address hope this helps paul

thanks i was told this before by someone that lives near me ,but i thought they might of been talking bollocks that you had different o rings that need to be petrol resistant if used in a carb iam going to have a good look at them tomorrow

i fitted k&n filters on my bike last summer and spent a lot of time and effort to get them right changing to k&n will cause the bike to run weak so you need bigger main jet thats if you have a standard air box

steve two are leaking, the o rings i brought a complete set of o rings from screw fix for 9.75 with 419 o rings the good news is ive got plenty off spares

thanks garn1 i will have a closer look i thought i would post this question before i put some silcone on the thread ,i have four sets of carbs in boxes and they all leak is this a fault with these bikes or just my ive got to fix this little problem the petrol fumes are upsetting my asthma please any...

check your condenser also remove your battery leads and terminals and give a good clean with a wire brush but it does sound like your conderser
