Have to say ive a "48" in my stable its fun to ride but agree with buckle has a puny tank range had to buy a 1 litre fuel canister to keep in me saddle bag and had to get those imperial spanners as me metrics dont fit.

Been a while for various reasons but bike is ready for assembly. Frame over engine is the method of choice now for rest of jigsaw.

they are rare to come up but dog bollox has a few nos of both types but doubt youd get him to part with any

ive been unlucky have purched 2 of these used one had the striped thread and other has piston stuck and dispite diesel soak and heat will not budge. This is what im after note fluting on master cylinder base which matches fluting on cap

Heres my take on it Ive owned 6 Z1Bs the earliest was a sept 74 all of them have been UK bikes. They all came with frame mounted indicators. Legend has it towards the end of the Z1bs life they ran out of grab rails and fitted the new Z900 items. 20200622_184600888_iOS.jpg ABOVE, 18 years at the time...
