Look forward to the pictures Hilton it sounds like a good bike. I think ?3500.00 would be asking too much though, as pigford says he got his for ?2200.00 with all the extra's. Mad I know but a rough Z1B will fetch more that a nice modded Z1000.

Good luck though Ian.

Very tempting Steve and if the price was ?2500.00 I would probably have put the cash down and bought it, same for the one Ed's friends selling. But 3k is just too much.

As far as I am aware it is a differant bracket Steve.

Not a hundred percent certain but I fitted one from a long guard and it looked wrong on the short USA guard. Bought another one off a short guard and it was slightly differant but looked correct fitted.

Steve I agree with you I have built many specials and when it came to sell them I would have got more if I had split them up. It makes no sense when you see a bandit with nothing more than a pipe and some bling fetch more than a carefully built and prepped zed. But its a lottery look at some of Jack...

With it being the Z1000 not a Z1A or B I think the most is ?2500.00 to ?2750.00 max. I have yet to see a modified Z1000 go for ?3000.00

In the right place yes but I think too many people dumped the old Zed and GS motors for gixer's and spolit a lot of the bikes. I would love an early Spondon or Martek big tube framed Gixer for the garage. But an Early Harris must hace the aircooled motor. I saw a Rickman a while ago n one of the mag...

The moriwaki rep hes just finishing. Looks like a well put togeather bike based on a B2 model. After that Z1000R2 I would prefer to buy off a club member then waste my time travelling up and down the country.

Funny that Dale that there is no mention of the hole. Be interesting to see when it sells what the feedback is. I agreed not to give him a negative because I believed him when he told e he did not realise. Seems I have been mislead. At least I spotted it before handing over the money. Put me off buy...
