I may have one from a z1000j for sale over the next few weeks if you don't find one sooner. I believe they are interchangeable but the rear mount may need fettling. It's actually on an ST and it fits fine. If interested I will let you know if/when it becomes available.

That's what I thought so wiped most of it off after the first time it happened, not sure what it was it just looked like copper grease to me.

Second time out in the rain on the ST and this time it was wet roads, few spots of rain and not the deluge it was last time.
