Anyone know what the difference between the z900 and z1000 top idle sprocket assembly? they are different part numbers but the APE ones do both bikes

hi Andy, done the same thing but just changed the forks to Zephyr 1100 forks from the Bandit as they suit the bigger wheel better with the mudguard,mine are 18" front and rear, 110 x 80 on the front and 160 x 60 on the rear I used the same sizes as a Hodna cb1100 retro thingie

I thought the crankcase mouths needed opening up a bit to use 1000 barrels on a 900

There is a bike custom business which built the blue z1000 with the nickel plated frame which is on ebay for 15.5k item number 123848223131 they built a tool for removing the chrome spoke disc.

I am sure Dave at Cybike was closer to 350 ish

I stopped mine with some brake pad backing tape from EBC

welcome in John, I had my z1000a1 running rich found the choke springs were a bit weak and not returning correctly, good luck with the carbs and +2 for the Denso plugs they are a lot better than the NGK's

Hi Mark welcome in used to have a z650 b1 did 65000 miles on it before it was stolen lovely bikes

spun my a1 bolts out with a windy gun and used the broom handle wedge to torque back up

Hi Gonzo it was the rear carrier I was looking at, I have the cast all in one piece one on my A1 and was thinking of using the LTD rear carrier and a Pretech calliper on this build. cheers Eddie

anyone got any more pics of the green zed with the Pretech calliper's looking to do the same at the rear on my 1000a1.
