A very nice pair and you're right about the weather - compared to last November it was freezing.

Re: Thoughts on new chain and sprockets for '73 Z1

I'm not looking at changing either my chain or sprockets at the moment but grew intrigued by this thread. So, I had a look at what's currently on my bike, it says 630 on my chain and the rear sprocket has 33 stamped on it - can't see the front sprocket but I'm guessing 15? Is this pretty much standa...

Re: How to find out original colour

Tsk, I hope that's your forecourt Adrian?

(BTW, I prefer the Candy Blue but to be honest, both Z1B colour schemes are absolutely stunning)

Re: How to find out original colour

Almost ready to get the Z1B painted. It's currently in the Z1A Candy Tone Green, but I'd like to go for a Z1B colour this time. I don't really have any preference but I like the idea of taking it back to its original colour if I can. Is there any way to find this out, based on the frame number perh...

Re: Hello, I am new here

Love the paint on the new aquisition!

However, regarding your original ST picture; I owned a Z1B back in the early 80's, which resembles the colour scheme chosen for yours. Seeing it has given me courage to maybe post some pics of my old bike. The 80's were kinda bonkers.

At £25 extra to enter this part of the show I'll have to wait until someone less bothered about being ripped off post something?

Re: STAFFORD 2018

My first time to the Stafford show and despite the atrocious weather on Sunday, I had a good day browsing all the stalls and stands. Also nice to see a few club members and put faces to names.
Didn't see a single Z1000 mk11 though?
