Re: Z1000 A1 A2 Z1R head wanted
Thanks for replies. Eventually went with getting Buzzard to comprehensively redo the chap’s original head, it needed a lot of work and wasn’t a cheap option but it’s a good job now and a known quantity, and ready to bolt on as opposed to spending nearly as much on a second hand head with no valves, ...

Re: 530 conversions
Kawasaki ZRX1200 - 2001 to 2004 chain and sprockets are 530, and has the same size spline for the front, and same diameter / spacings for the rear as a Z1000R. JT Sprockets list JTF1529 with a 16 or 17 teeth front sprocket. JTR488 with 38 - 47 teeth for rear sprocket. You also need to make sure any...

Re: 530 conversions
What’s on it at the moment and is that gearing what you want? Work it out with whatever front sprocket you’re going to use to get the same ratio as the stock setup. 530 sprocket usually a 17 tooth instead of 15 sums are pretty straightforward if you’ve not changed wheel sizes. 15/41 is 17/46 or 47 ...
