Well congrats to ZORDED for the eagle eyes on the photos! I have been out and checked the engine number of the motor in the GPZ1100 and it is a Unitrak bottom end at the least! The engine number starts KZ10BE I was wondering what was different as the shape of the pistons was wrong! I was going to ch...

Unitrak calipers on a Z1000J

Hi, I am sure that in my reading of many posts, I came across someone suggesting that Unitrak front calipers were a good upgrade for a Z1000J.
Is this correct or have I misread something?
I have tried to search for this - but no joy?

I know this is an old-ish post, but is it better to have cleaning of cases done and then have the engine sent off for building or the other way round?
Love the ceramic cleaning results!

Thanks for the quick reply Z1015.

Is there any clearance issues with the valves or is it a plug and play job?

Which 1170 kit?

As per title, I am looking at an 1170 kit for either my 1000J (already got a set 0f 1089's for it) and or my GPZ1100B1. I have found Cosworth 11.0 : 1 compression kit and 1170cc on Webike for £820. http://www.webike.co.uk/products/117579.html I have also seen Wiseco kits with 10.25 : 1 compression ...

I am pretty sure that neither the ZRX1100 or 1200 ever had a centre or mainstand. I don't think there ever was a part number for it as an option. I have been on both ZRXOA and ZRXOC sites for a few years and did see that a member in the USA developed one as an aftermarket part - but it did not end w...

Hello and welcome from a fellow newbie with a GPZ1100B1 ! Mine is also "quite a project" - it already has had the Fuel Injection removed and carbs supplied - but not attached! Mr Bump, I would be very interested in your carb setup for the GPZ1100 with air box. I do not want to go down afte...
