Thanks uk kev, That the one, I cant tell the size from the picture but if it's small enough for a camchain link it will be right. The only thing is i'm now erring on the side of splitting the crankcases for peace of mind, if I decide to do this it will be this weekend if I dont I'll contact you soon...

The tool is to break the chain and refit a new one, I have a reynolds one but it is much too big for a camchain and yes I would much prefer to put an endless chain on but dont relish the thought of splitting the engine, I did do this years ago on my old 900 and I really hammered that and it held up ...

I had one of my switches powder coated in satin black then used the Humbrol enamels, I would be careful scrapping the lettering out that wont be too easy and I didn't have to do that I found it best to slightly overfill the letters and then let it semi dry before wiping over with a smooth cloth damp...

Standard jetting z1000A1/Harris 4into1
I am in the last stages of getting my A1 on the road (tune up) and my carbs have a standard jet set up ie. 107.5 mains/17.5 pilots breathing through a standard airbox minus the silencer which is missing and the bike is fitted with a Harris 4 into 1. is this the best option? any advice would be appre...
