My thoughts as well Mark,do use a so called Ethanol additive to annul effects of the stuff,have used the red rubber grease and seems effective,up to yet..

Any advice on stiff fuel tap? is nos and works fine but i reckon this crappy fuel plus hot weather is causing stiff operation,any lubes out there that work?Ta Paul J

Still a solution,once panels and seat are on would not be visible,a4 air boxes are now hens teeth...

If you already have a thou airbox and silencer,why not get hold of a thou battery box? its only the height of the battery box that stops the airbox from a thou to be easily fitted,or if you dont wont to adjust your a4 batt box a bit of fabrication would be pretty easy,bet Dks have a thou box!

Excellent info, that explains the conundrum,pistons were listed for A1 and A2 as are the different pads,what thickness are the sintered pads? looks like getting a set of those is the answer..Thanks for that...Paul j

Put spring on b4 you bolt on stand,leave bike on side stand,there is not much tension when stand is up,use i rod or screwdriver to lever stand on position then insert bolts,or use spring puller,easy to make just a hook with a loop on the end.

Correct free play in the rod,mc at correct level,have not tried loosening spindle nut,have measured gap between pistons going back fully level with dust seal lip, to see if enough gap with 9mm pads, plus shims, plus disc thickness 7.5mm,seems 2mm too much,would need to lose shims or pads would need ...
