I've booked this day as well. Inters group.
I agree, Rockingham is a great track and good clean facilities.

Brian, there is a Snetterton track day on Easter Sunday Rob Yep. No Limits at Rockingham on Good Friday, MSV at Snetterton on Saturday. Would like to do both but a divorce is expensive! A lot of people seem to hate Rockingham but it could be my favourite track. A tyre destroyer in the dry though. B...

I'm going to try to change my holiday dates so I do Cadwell. My holiday clashes with someone else anyway.
Need to get my money's worth out of the old Routemaster I brought.
Might do a track day a Snetterton or Rockingham over Easter to try her out.

I'm away biking in France that weekend.
It's an organised tour so can't change it.

Not seen the film Stone. It was on YouTube a while back. I forgot to watch it and just tried to find it but seems to have been taken off other than trailers or a few scenes. Not on ITunes either. If you're not concerned about a classic look, a modern radial master cylinder is a revelation. I put an ...

I better change my Superbike entry back to Novice, with Brian howling around on a bus. Rob Oddly enough, the guy I brought it from described it as "The Big Red Racing Bus". He'd been quite successful with it the last couple of years in the CRMC. It's not as powerful as my 1100R and probab...

OK guys, just booked a place in the Superbike group. Brought a old skool track bike today. A 1984 track ready FJ1100. Pretty much standard - CMRC registered for production class so I could even race it - tempting! I will likely bring the 1100R as well to do one or two sessions. I've been gathering a...

If you do get another bike Brian, to make it fair for everyone else and give us a 50/50 chance of catching you, i think you should be restricted to 125cc. AL Surely you missed a zero off the end. If anyone hears/knows of a well sorted old skool track bike I'd be interested. Haven't the time for a p...

Donington 2017

Almost certainly a no from me.
I'm retiring the 1100R from track use and don't have another bike.

New Paint

When out for a quick spin to Loomies cafe in Hampshire. Would have gone out for a long ride but spent ages trying unsuccessfully to get the Koso rev counter working. Hit a partridge on the way back. It struck the mirror spinning it loose and knocked the hose off the brake reservoir covering me and t...

Just booked up for both days on the Z1100 for Cadwell. Hopefully less breakdowns this year. Last year included electrical and fueling problems, a stripped gear change shaft and a collapsed wheel bearing. The wheel bearing failure happened going into the Gooseneck and sent me grass tracking at high s...
