I also have an A1 which recently blew a small hole in the original can... I have located a couple of companies in Europe who make what they describe as 100% copies of the 4:2... they are not cheap but I hope to be able to order a set in the next few months ... if you are interested I can send you so...

On first look the OS cans are noticeably thinner and don’t have the taper down at the front , I assume this is to avoid the shaping for stands etc ... the French ones seem fatter but finding it hard to get any info atm You'll find it hard to get info from the French guys. I tried about 5 times and ...

So this evening my original left hand silencer spat out the drain screw and the surrounding area, I am going to look into getting it repaired and re chromed but do I have other options ? has anyone got a can hidden somewhere or have you found/fitted pattern or stainless systems?? ... I am really not...
