I would still try swapping fuel pipes over, when you check fuel levels in carbs they have had time to fill up.

I had a similar problem, I fitted a pingel fuel tap and the bike ran a lot better.

It was great to finally meet a few club members at the Ace Cafe today, some top notch bkes as well. I did get a bit damp on the way home as predicted. It was worth it though. I am off to start cleaning my bike Now!
