i thought raising the needle a notch would low more fuel at higher rpm but maybe not, it could be one of the mains blocked or I supose a faulty plug or coil breaking down under load? Raising the needles will help from approx 1/4 to 3/4 throttl..:P , i would say 3/4 to full throttle, as if you try a...

Ny z1b hasnt been used as nuch as it should and I know he pilots were a bit blocked and a good 100 mile run has low speed running spot on. problem I have at about 5-6k rpm - giving a decent handfull of throttle the engines lurches before it picks up. Most bearings have serial code, have you stripped engine yet, you may be able to get them from sks bearing suppliers if you have the codes. Most regular bearings are bought in by bike or car industries, they're not set up to produce them

If its all set up correct before you fit the idler wheel then Im sure its all ok, Im sure that the difference and shift due to tension in the relative positions of the tdc mark and arrow are part of the design. the important thing is to set the chain correct with the arrow and tdc before any tension

yes fitted firstly Im no mechanic so this is my own experience from setting the cam timing on various bikes , inc my z1b and gs750, you set it up without the idler wheel tensionors, with the arrows in the right position, tdc mark, number of pins counted etc - and then when apply full tension by way...

I fitted replica pipes and before fitting I was advised to soak the insides with used engine oil, the oil burns off quick and leaves an insulating layer which helps prevent blueing - the tip came from a mate who has single skin chrome pipes on his 67 Camaro - apparently its done a lot in the custom ...

What is the best way to clean up a set of engine casings. Iv got them compleatly stripped and I've washed them down with a bit of paraffin. I've heard puttin them in the dish washer can clean them up???? Does any one have any experience of this?? I wouldn't use the dishwasher there's a good chance ...
