Just one question ..... in the first magazine article they say set the valve clearances and in the 2 links they say remove all valve lash ...... do they mean excess lash or set the valve clearance to zero ?

You can easily go to 1015 cc (70mm) on the 900 liners. Even sneak them out to 1045cc (71mm) but the liners end up about as thin as taking the 1015 block to 1105. The barrels i have are 903 taken out to 70mm .... IMD have a 1040 piston kit but as you say it leaves the liners a bit thin and they are ...

hi .. the barrels I used on my Z1b were a bit marginal when i built the bike so its time to replace them I am using 29mm CR carbs so would like to use a big bore of some sort Does anyone have any 1015 barrels I could fit a 1075 kit or maybe a complete kit for sale ? Maybe 903 barrels I could bore to...

seems a tad expensive
Crankcases are as close to scrap as you can get unless you really need the number ...... head is scrap with no caps and broken fins .. crank is rusty so will need a good looking at .... no barrels ... id be a buyer at £75 quid

I recently bought a UK Z1B locally which came with no paperwork at all
Although I could not get the original reg number it was simple enough to re register with the DVLA .... I can talk you through it if it helps
