This is where iam so far new batt and the bike still won't start and the ends of the coil cores that you bolt down are getting real hot. Thanks for the advice i have access to a batt charger for model cars etc. And that can trickle charge on all sorts of battery. Wont know till w/e if it works and subseqently what bike im riding to Kempton park bike jumble on saturday.

Battery is due tomo. So today fit new batterys to multi meter and that is bleeding dead now. FFS! So now is of yo someone like maplins for a multimeter.

Did'nt do any thing with the z1100 elr today. I swaped out all the brightwork on the z900a4 that i have had in boxes for months in the shed. Today the time I had spare due to the rain I spent cleaning and measuring vales and spring preload ( well Dave Capper done the measure part). Turns out both were 'plum ducked'. Should have just thrown em in the bin and saved a couple of hours :?? . oh well you live in hope don't you.

Right then ok peeps who is the best company to take the crank too, to see if they can refurbish it roger upperton des not do cranks any more so thats him crossed off the list.
