I went this year from Mon to Weds and got soaked over the mountain, didn't go above 40mph :oops:
Very foggy, which was a coincidence as I didn't go on the Z900, but my Ducati :o
We watche weds from Gorse Lea, excellent :D

Put new seals on over legs and used 20 wt oil, now loads better, it only had about 30ml of oil in before, prob never been changed in 36 yrs :!:
Bike handles really well now, I like a bit of weaving on corners, as long as it doesnt tank slap, it lets you know you're going fast enough. :lol:

I've tried socket extensions, rattle gun and broom handle with no avail :evil:
So i have chisellead the old seals out with a.....chisel and screwdriver :!:
lets hope that works

How do you remove the recessed allen bolt from the fork leg. I went for my first ride tonight after bringing my bike back from the dead and registering it, to Matlock bath and noticed that one of the fork seals was leaking. The rear light, not brake light, on my 76 Z900, has an intermitant fault, it works and then dies within a few seconds. Has anyone else renthalls? I think the horn workd by eathing onto the bars when pressing the horn button, renthalls being ali don't conduct. Do you have to run an earth to the left hand controls, and if so how and where do you connect. I'm having several probs with my wiring now I'm re-assembling an...
