Whilst putting a few miles on the bike i noticed that there was a gap appearing between the end cap and the can of the exhaust. The baffle is a sliding fit in the outer tube with a pressed plate welded to the inlet side and the gas pressure is forcing the baffle and hence cap, so it needs to be held...

New one in Spain. Expensive but it is new and its the thick one so you can smooth it down if necessary!

My P&M has a similar head mod re. the angled head skim. Quite common on this vintage of race engine.

Nearly there

At this point things were happening very quickly and i was building the bike up quicker than i can photograph it, so apologies for the lack of photos, i will endeavor to take some more detailed shots over the next week or so. I was building the wiring loom from scratch as the old loom is a right dog...
