Re: z750 twin
Has anybody got a z750 twin in reasonable condition they want to sell thanks jim Ahhh, a man with taste and these are an acquired taste and very underrated in their day. But I loved mine back in 78 and 79, they had enough torque to ride up the side of a house, handled great although not that quick....

Re: Z1A left footrest US bike
Andrew check this is the peg you want. The number 34028 1008 comes up on CMSNL as a right hand peg but it has 'non staggered' bars on the rubber part. https://i.postimg.cc/3RpCVTtf/IMG-5124.jpg Its possibly Z1000 or Z1R, it hadn't ever been out of the bag until yesterday. Dave, that's not a Z900 fo...

Re: Z1A left footrest US bike
I have several right hand footrests, including a NOS Z900 or later one, if anyone needs it, but the only left hand riders footrest I have is a mess. I’m looking for an NOS or good used one, genuine if at all possible, for a 1974 Z1A. It’s the one with a ‘staggered’ pattern in the rubber ribbing, al...

Re: Condensation in pipes,
I assume you have power where the bike is stored? If so try and make it as air tight as poss and stick a dehumidifier in there. You'll be surprised how much moisture you'll extract. Yep, I use a X-Dry unit which takes out about 2-3 lts overnight when the residual humidity hits upwards of 60, plus i...

Steve, which chromer did you use?
Re: Z1 4-4
I have a set of 4-4 exhausts taken off a Z1 with no stamps. They are in poor condition, but I don't know if they are repro or original. They were on a bike that hadn't been restored or touched for many years so I suspect too old to be repros given their condition. I'm guessing there will be some ea...

Re: Z900 A4 wheels
Need a pair of wheels (or just rims) for the above with late 1975 date codes. 5K or 5L would be correct. I have a front with 5H date coded rim as a possible trade, or will buy. Thanks. Good luck with your hunt Chris - I've been looking for a correctly dated rear rim for my Feb 76 Z900 for a while n...

Great Story Steve, very amusingly told and I'm glad you held onto it and that your mum wasn't seriously injured - clearly not a lady to bear a grudge.

Re: Z1-B resurrection after 43 years
Lovely bike, it's great to see another original UK registered Zed on the road - I know it shouldn't make any difference (and doesn't to many) but I think there's something special about Uk bikes. What's the story of the 43 year 'hibernation'? But before anyone comments, I know they're all made in Ja...
