emergency solution some half inch square bare from Steel stockist or B&Q cut to length dressed with a file etc just an idea

Changed the wheel bearings recently check all the bearings are fully home and up to the stops in the hubs

Cant add to this however the start motor cover is usually the suspect but if you have lifted this that then its patience and carefull levering and tapping

All sorted now lets hope fitting the arm to the Mk2 was as easy as fitting the bearings

Thanks for all the ideas lads I have aquired some m16 threaded bar nuts and washers from my tame engineering co in high wycombe one last question did we all put two bearings in each side as per parts diagram blowup or is it just overkill
