It is the correct part number so get in touch with your supplier and complain, the sensor is for the self cancelling turn signal system but the connecting thread is the same as is on the instrument,you could try and contact Zpower in the uk, they may have the correct part, but your first call is the...

It is an absolute nightmare distance diagnosing electrical faults, however if you have only removed the headlamp then the issue is more than likely to be in one of the multi connectors therein, check all the connections especially the brown wire coming from the ignition switch ....good luck :up

wired george mod melted my coils ( 2 sets in 1 weekend) , happened when on a long run.I set were black dynas, 1 set was std genuine Kawasaki that would have been down to a charging problem or leaving the ignition & kill switch on for long periods This does more damage than it gets credit for .....

This could just be summat simple like the battery is tired, if your trying with the starter the battery voltage may well be dropping below the level to produce a viable spark, try a better battery or kick start before you drive yourself insane looking for issues that dont exist :) jiust sayin

Fom the factory the Keys with the bike opened all the locks i.e steering , ignition , helmet, and seat/tailpiece, the D1 keys where the short blade type.
