The bush in the clutch basket is not available as a Separate part only the center collar is available. check the springs in the rear of the basket if you can turn them with your fingers the clutch basket will need reconditioning

The caps in the parts diagram are for usa models uk models had 90 degree angled metal plug cap

You don't need to remove the the engine cover just use a pick tool to pull out the seal then lubricate the new seal with smear of grease & tap the seal into the cover. i have done it hundreds of times . ps you may have dislodged the tension spring from the seal when you installed the engine cove...

The thick black wire from the battery is the main earth & bolts to the crank case above the kick-start cover it also has a thinner black wire with a yellow stripe attached to it which connects to the main wiring harness. rectifier black lead goes to battery earth

Ended up ordering an aftermarket one, will take a week to get here apparently. Kawasaki France's website doesn't show parts for older bikes, it directs you to a concessionaire, all of which are multi-marque and carry very little stock and require an email or phone call to see if / when they can get...
