Ralph, that's right there is another strainer/filter somewhere which gets clogged and starves the top end of oil. Dr Rod did a rebuild in CMM a few months back where he made one good motor from two and a few other bits

A good run out to the Nabs Head today. There were five bikes but only one Zed (Will). A good turn out of 900s, a couple of Z1s, Z1Bs and a few A4s, some bog standard, some mildly modded and one pretty radical Z1B. Lots of other nice classic Jap stuff and a nice friendly meet with a good atmosphere, ...

As everybody else said, that paintwork and the 4 pipes really suit
