A good number of us on here use Peter James Insurance for our classics. Agreed value and no claims doesn't count with classic insurance. No charge for agreed value etc.

Looks like a decent basis to start with. The 2:4 style seat may not be to your liking but will make strong money if you choose to move it on :)

Dealers run as a business to make money. If they see something they think they can sell and make a tidy profit then they'll be on it. Dealer prices will always be a lot higher than private. And if you sell a bike for a price your happy with, you can't really complain if the buyer sells it for more....

It might be worth trying a hyphen between the Z1-F in the frame number. I had this problem at mot time a few years ago when Z1F wasn't recognised and I was sent home by the tester to retrieve the previous certificate. I duly returned and sure enough there was a hyphen there which then worked when in...
