I'm not cutting up a good frame as it defeats the object.
Basically I just need the frame cradle with the engine mounts :wink:

SCRAP 1000J LTD GPz1100 FRAME

I'm after a scrap/damaged/etc 1000J motor type frame from 1981-1986. I basically just need the engine cradle,so not bothered about damaged top tubes,headstock,subframe,rust or rot,etc It must have the engine mountings in tact other than that anything considered. Any J type motor will have the cam cover you need including the uni-trak 1100.
So any u.k. spec J,LTD,ST GPz 1000cc/1100cc will do.

36mm RS Mikuni flatslides are a good choice for an 1170 motor :wink:
Maybe 38mm if you have head work such as larger valves,porting,gas flow,etc.

75mm bore which gives 1170cc is the largest size with the standard cylinder block.
Any larger will require sleeves and the crankcases to be machined also.
