Re: It only too me 41 years to get another Z1B

Lovely looking bike, get the carbs sorted and enjoy it while the sun is out. If its stood for 8 years it would be worth giving the brakes a good seeing to !

Re: Looking for a project

Nice one, Good luck with the resto/modding.

The previous owner must have some inside leg measurement judging by length of those shocks !

Re: Looking for a project

I was watching this one recently as it looks a good candidate for a resto. As far as I know it didn't sell, so you could try contacting the seller and see if it's still available ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325353235616?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=tn2p4DAOTXi&sssr...

Re: Carb Rubbers.

I've used them on my Z1R, no issues at all. I just gave them a very thin smear of sealant just to make sure.

Re: Motobatt Terminals?

Got a Motobatt on my A4 Andrew and no issues ......other than it's bright yellow. Use a piece of black plastic behind the battery clamp to hide it !

Re: Oil pressure disappeared on Z1B resto.

Are you sure the o ring (I think it's 91mm) is correctly in place between the sump pan and the lower crankcase.? You will fail to get oil pressure if it's missing or damaged. Easy to check by removing sump pan.
