nice I had to pay a few quid for my z1100r ones a few years back,think they were around £100 not cheap but the builds not finished with out them

well done its a great feeling when an elusive fault is eventually tracked down,electrical faults like this are usually something simple,just a bugger to find

Trace the wires from the switch to the fuse box and all the way to the rear light,it sounds like you have a short from a worn wire,or a bodged repair,has the main loom been refurbished or repaired at all?

it was ended before the end of the auction so no indication what it went for

Dents in the pipe can be taken out by filling with water and putting in the freezer....if you have a large enough freezer

Not my fault the plot thickens,look anyone with any nouse could smell a rat,honesty and openess would have avoided all this,hopefully lessons will be learnt.
