Z1000A1 has a free flow fuel tap like all earlier tanks and fixes to a 22mm threaded pipe.
Z1000A2 has a vacumn fuel tap, and is fixed in place with 2 bolts. Picture added.

You dont want that on your A2
Why not, 18 inch front and rear - perfectly balanced Z10000.
Easy to extend the bolt holes on the front mudguard so it sits right.

Re: Z1000a2 mag wheels.
You need the same wheels as fitted to the MK2 and H. The Z1R wheels have a slightly different spoke design where the spoke meets the rim. Picture of my Z1000A2, which has had these alloys on it from new. Which are identical to Z1R wheels. 18 inch rims front and rear. Not sure what you mean by spoke...

Re: Best re-lining prducts for my tank
POR 15 is the most robust liner and is resistant to ethanol. It comes with a degreaser and metal cleaner. It can also be very tricky to get right. Are you sure you need a liner ? It is also difficult to remove POR15 without damaging your paint work. Link to kit from Frosts https://www.frost.co.uk/po...
