Oil pump

Now I've got a deep sump, I'm after an oil pump to 'canibalize'. I need to extend the pick up point lower and would rather keep my standard pump just in case i make a pigs ear of it :oops: Will pay in part/swap with a fresh set of dial faces for your Zed :wink: Or even a complete custom set for.??? ...

Why not fit softer springs along with a lock-up clutch (like MTC etc).
This will also give you a really light clutch actuation with 100% guarantee of no clutch slip.

Oh dear. Fluted taps should never be used to clean threads on spark plug holes. Looks like you've taken a bit of material out there Rob :?? The best and safest way to clean spark plug threads is with a 'fluteless' tap. Now don't laugh, I'm not winding you up. Fluteless taps literally have no cutaway...

Thanks for the clarification Steve, good help that.
I'll be whipping the carbs off later and 'bench setting' all the slides at 0.7mm from the bottom throats then see how they balance up from there.
