This, I had a KE125 that sheared woodruff keys because the taper was worn on the flywheel, even two strokes don't like random variable ignition timing

Re: Zephyr 1100 rear shocks

I've got a YSS on my FZ750 - very good for the money.
The original Zephyr shocks are good though, I bought a set of 750 ones off eBay for £90

Re: camchain replacement - What's the word?

Chains do stretch, thats why there's a figure (service limit) to compare new vs old, but tbh, the rollers also get shagged  So you're saying the plates get longer with use, anything else is wear on the moving parts, which makes the chain have a longer measured length. BTW my Unitrak camchain w...

Re: camchain replacement - What's the word?

1. Chains don't stretch the rollers wear
2. Splitting the crankcases isn't that difficult on a Z engine
3. If you do decide to split the cases, it's much easier with two people
4. The crank is bloody heavy

Re: GPz1100 B2

Take the timing casing off (rh side) if it's got mechanical advance mechanism it's a J type engine (GPZ1100B1/B2) if it's got no advance mechanism it's a Unitrak (advance is electronic)
Yours looks like a B2 engine though.

Re: gpz1100 hydraulic clutch

Hi Dave, I've got a Tom Forde conversion bracket, it uses a ZXR750J2 slave cylinder and I've got a ZX9r master cylinder, but the bracket doesn't do anything a flat plate of ally wouldn't do so long as the holes were in the right places, you'd need to hold the plate on with long M6 bolts, but this is...

Re: Z1100R 4 into 1 exhaust

You can get new from Delkevic or Kerker
I'll probably have a set of Kerker front pipes for sale in a couple of weeks, but you'll need a silencer, Delkevic silencer will fit.

It'll probably be the same as a Z1000J, left hand side, through the tunnel in the tank and then between the forks and the steering head

Re: Marve's BiTsA Z1000j3

ZZR1100 sprockets fit and have about 14mm of offset
Exhaust wise I think you can get Delkevic, Kerker or Hindle new.
