According to csml the part no for the piston is the same as the z1000 a1 & other models so this should fit

the two black wires must be all ready be connected together as the starter wont work if you just disconnect the switch

Sounds like a good plan. Any of mine are available as usual but with them all being modified they probably don't suit the theme but are there if plans change or needed to bring up the numbers.
