I've found SparkPlugs.co.uk and the ordinary ones are £2 each and the iridium ones £8 each, which seems suspiciously cheap to me.

Re: Best quality 4=1?
Kerker is a lot of money for what it is, I wasn't impressed with the one that came on my bike, Vance and Hines is cheaper and better made, depends what you want though, you can get a repro Harris, hopefully better made than the originals.

Re: CopDoc Motorcycle show
It's not far from me and I'll go along to have a look, I think RobW will be there as well with his ELR on the VJMC stand. I've been for the last couple of years and it's okay, can be quite busy, the classic bikes tend towards old British bikes but there will be quite a few old Japanese and European ...

ideally you need to use plastigage to determine what clearance you have ? you can buy the cam shells in singular form http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/181856884471?chn=ps&dispItem=1&adgroupid=38976932050&rlsatarget=pla-325443470320&abcId=1128936&adtype=pla&merchantid=7108414&a...

I think it's a bad idea, personally I have no problem with my vehicles being inspected to make sure they're safe once a year

Good luck,
On a completely off topic note, my dad was born near there at Lacey Green, I didn't know where Lacey Green was until this morning when I looked at a map of Kop Hill.

Z1000J Round Fuel Guage Sender
I recently bought a Z1000J petrol tank to use while my leaky one is being repaired, unfortunately it has a round hole for the sender unit and my leaky tank has an oval one. Does anyone have a round one spare they'd be willing to sell me, doesn't have to work as I don't need (or want) a fuel guage. T...

Re: Cylinder head identification
I thought all J engines apart from the Unitrak/Z1100R/ZN1100 engine ran shims over bucket and the Unitrak type engine is the only 900/1000/1100 engine that runs shim under bucket from the factory.

Re: The reason why I've been in hiding - a month....
Very nice, I had an early 31K one, had it tuned by Stan Stephens and put Jim Lomas pipes on it, added about 20mph to the top speed.
