Re: Z1 rear rim

The nearest I have is 306 5L which is December 75. Needs a re chrome though as it looks like some Neanderthal has changed a tyre with a shovel!

Not sure which model the 306 is from!

Re: New Member from Swindon

Welcome onboard!

It’s a nice looking bike you have there, Warren and Philippe are right, you need someone who has working knowledge of these classic bikes.

The problem you have maybe something simple and I’m sure you can get the help you need on this forum.

Ride safe!

That looks really good, I like it.

A lot of work has gone into it but it’s been worth it, well done!

Re: Any Electrics Experts

Hi Pete D,

I also used to ride a Hesketh.

I liked the bike but it was too tall and every time you sat on it while it was on the side stand it would try to throw you off the other side.

Nice looking bike but not very user friendly!

Pleased your Z is running well!

Re: Any Electrics Experts

Pleased your modification has worked out. I’m not a huge fan of the relay modification to power the coils as it has some inherent issues. If I were to do this mod I would use a relay with positive break contacts which means that if the contacts weld together, when the power is removed from the relay...

Re: Tyres choices recommendations ?

Road riders every time for me. I have them fitted to 80% of my bikes and when the other 20% are worn out, they’ll be road riders as well!
