Exhaust drains....
Good morning all , Z1000 oe exhausts appear to have drain holes at the base of the cans , Mine seem to have what appear to be small (rusty) grommets , anyone enlighten me on wether they should be plugged, drained occasionally or left open, how do they not constitute a “blowing exhaust “

A1, A2 Oe exhausts...
There is an ongoing negotiation on the forum re Italian repro 4:2 exhausts, I have a hole in mine and whilst waiting over winter was fine I find myself looking out at the sunny weather and dry roads itching for a blast ... I know its like unicorn nadgers but just in case anyone out there took off th...

Re: Z1000 a1 exhausts?
Bit of work being done here... not cheap, not even reasonable ... may come down a bit if we have the numbers http://z1ownersclub.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=44097 I guess it depends on your perspective. However, I have stumbled across another option which may work out quite a bit cheaper. ...

Re: Z1000 a1 exhausts?
Hi there Ospipes gentleman said £850 or thereabouts for a set. So still significantly cheaper than the £1400 proposal, even with a theoretical 15% discount. Haven't heard from anyone who has fitted an Ospipes set. While we're on the subject: What is the general consensus on putting 4 into 4 Z900 se...

Re: Z1000 a1 exhausts?
Hi there Anyone had any Z1000 A1 pipes from Ospipes recently? Any photos? I have a stainless Harris replica I commisioned from Exhaust craft in Whitehaven but bit too derestricted, too noisey. So need new exhaust system. Looking for 4 into 2. Doesn't have to be exact but in same style as OEM Thanks...

Re: KZ1000A1 Rebuild
would like the stand and axle dents , side cover fixing plus oe part number stamp Ultimately, the more detail the higher the tooling costs and selling price will be. As good as these look, I think they will turn out to be original style replacements rather than exact replicas. Nothing wrong with th...

Re: KZ1000A1 Rebuild
I have met and know Gerrard who runs Becane fairly well. He won't tell me where he gets them but I do know he does not make them himself. Interested to know how the differ from originals I've just compared photos from both companies and I'd say they are one and the same.... Although Becane didn't d...
