I got a battery and turned on the ignition. All the lights worked but the fuel pump was not priming. After a few days of soaking it in various things and tryiny to get it to go on the bench i admitted defeat and started to source a new one.I posted on the fb GPz1100 group and a guy called John from ...

Lovely looking 1100 :up Have you got a link to the fuel filter by any chance please? I’m running a couple of 750 turbos and the fuel filter is the same for all the old Kawasaki fuel injection bikes Hi j.b .... Not a Hodna filter as i thought.... Very nice :up Might try to pick one up for my next project before they rocket up in price. Re the injectors, I suspect they may have been working fine before the cleaning. The graph is a little deceptive with the Y-axis, whereas the before/after flow rate figures suggest they were pretty good alrea...

The fuel tap was missing so with the help of Phillipe i found an NOS one in Germany and got it shipped over.

The fuel filter looked like it had seen better days and after looking at the price of a genuine K replacement found this one which is from some sort of H@nda car

As the bike had not been run for so long i was concerned that the injectors may be full of solidified fue so isent them off to injectortune to be cleaned. You can see the difference in flow from the attached graph

It's an Italian bike in white. The guy who imported it kept all the import paperwork including the purchase reciept.Seems like he registered it,ran it for a year and then stored it away fro some reason. At some time a lot of work had been done to the bike.It had been totally stripped with the frame ...
