Afew years ago I had a broken panel on a ZX9R - The bike had fallen on its side & broke the front indicator area.
From a friends recommendation I used these guys near Worcester.

My reaction is I think the original Z1 motorcycle is a design masterpiece and the original shape pipes is one (of the many) things that Kawasaki got 'just right'. The grommet in question appears to have an odd shape in that it has a flat side and is 'D' shaped. Just a suggestion - I suppose until one turns up, you could use a 'normal' round (maybe slightly undersize) one with a smear of silicon which should seal against the elements ok. Excellent choice.
Due to its angular lines, not the most popular bike - but in April of this year I have owned mine for 40 years, so with some conviction I can state they are a fine machine and a great bike to ride.

Been hankering after a Z1B for ages and it does look great - Paint looks spot on.
However I would need time to sell one of my 2 z1000's & I think it could get snapped up quickly
