Lay the bike down on a car tire, remove engine mount bolts then lift frame up from the engine. Putting the engine in is revers of the above, easier to manipulate / move frame to avoid scratches than grunting with a bloody motor. Take all plugs out and try it, failing that drop it into gear and just rock it (with the clutch out :) )to get the gears etc moving. Has happened to me once before where it just settles in the 'wrong' place.
