Frame with V5 for 1000/900 What have you got?

I am thinking of using up all my bits I have lying around to put another bike, together as a bit of a hack and perhaps for classic track days, all I need is a frame  . Anybody got anything they want to part with. Conditions not too important as I will probably brace it and remove unwanted brack...

I believe that the B1 has loops at the back for the pillion footrests and the a2 has a triangular section, so they are different. I am not an expert though but have had a quick look at kawasaki.com parts diagrams and you can display all kz1000 models and then compare. http://www.kawasaki.com/Default...

Ralph,
I got some angled valves like that from Harris and they do different diameters, as like you say the triumph ones are small.

Might be worth a call!

I would be interested in a couple of sloped covers with or without lettering or "fins", if you're planning on doing a mini production run.

I really just need an angled cover for ground clearance.

Let us know,

Cheers

z1000a2 stripes location.

Hi can anyone supply me with some close up pictures of standard z1000a2 stripes as I am having some painted and could do with the dimensions and locations of the stripes for the painter to get it right.

you can email any info to kwackerz1@dsl.pipex.com

If that's easier.

Thanks

Slabby tyre sizes are:

110/80/18 front
140/70/18 rears.

I'll ask my mate what he wants for his set.

Common 18" wheels are the slabside gsxr wheels, relatively cheap and readily available. This pic shows a slabbie rear and a j front. http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/dd291/kwackerz1/bits%20for%20sale/IMG_0152.jpg Less common 18"'s are the Slabside 1100 j ones. Better shot of the J rear. ...

The Marzocchis probably have the Maxton cartridges fitted internally hence the Maxton sticker. Have a l...

Z650 B1 S are drum brakes, the ZIR is a disk brake, I dont think the dimensions are much different but you would need the calipers etc.

Later 650's had mags and drum brakes those wheels would be a better bet.
