Re: wanted z900

Noticed this A4 on Face-ache a few weeks ago for under £10K. Looks mostly all there and seems to be a Gen UK bike which are Much rarer than your typical Yank import, and just as importantly has all the correct UK spec and hard to get hold of bits like Twin Discs, Grab rail and Long rear guard. https...

Thanks Gary. The O/D is 11mm, so an odd size for standard fittings ?

Don't know if it helps but those compression couplings I linked are also available in 10 &12mm. The 12mm ones would easily compress down the extra mm to give a leak free joint.

Re: GPz oil pipe modify or replace - help needed !

What size are the metal pipes?.... if they are 15mm OD then standard 15mm compression plumbing couplings would do a job..

I'd think you should be able to get a very nice Z1A for that budget.

Re: Paint

Had several Big Zeds painted by Richie at FX in Ormskirk and all fantastic.

Z1000A1 was Diamond Sky Blue or diamond Wine Red. Z1000A2 is Luminous Red or Luminous Green.

Make sure your painter knows the difference.

Nice. Colour looks good as well, the original Wine Red always looked a little bland to me.

What are the exhausts?...
