Latest update I downsized the main jets to 105's (as supplied in the Keyster kit) I put an extra "E" clip above the mormal one and this has stopped the needles moving up and down in the slides now, re-balanced carbs) Result, much smoother and cleaner running and pulls better at all speeds...

Full advance is 40 degrees btdc on all the 900 and 1000's if you are going by the book on a std engine. Once you have that set with a strobe the retarded figure is fixed by the mechanical advance and can't be altered independently without modifying the advancer. Thanks for that Rob . I'm not lookin...

Degreeing in Standard Cams.

Has any one out there ever Degreed / Dialed in STANDARD 900 Camshafts ???? If so, I'd really appreciate your input here. I have limited knowledge & experience in this area but I want to try & keep the engines original mid-range torque & character as is , so i dont want after market cams....
