I've had good results with acid stains using a buffer and a cutting polish to the point it nearly looks like the original chrome again..... sadly though it doesn't last long. :(

A1/2 airboxes Inc silencer equates to almost £500 Thou Airboxes seem to command comedy prices, probably because many were binned in favour of Pods and the fact they're not available as a pattern part unlike the Z1. Seem to remember someone was producing the Airtubes though as a pattern part for aro...

I'd think that the idea of buying these Bikes as investments is a thing of the past, Ageing buyers and present/future economic climate will mean that values will start/have started to fall.

Personally I'd just buy the 'Best' bike for your budget.

What is the present condition of the pipes, ie is it 'just' chroming they need or are there any holes, dents, swelling around the baffle plates etc?... Add chroming costs to any repairs like the above and it may be easier/cheaper to just buy the pattern sets from Z power which look just as good as t...
